NEW SECRETARIAT:

Shortcut to global networks for Swedish environmental researchers

Swedish researchers will now be rapidly connected to international networks and research programmes for sustainable development. This will be done through a new secretariat which the Royal Academy of Sciences KVA is setting up in June 2010 in collaboration with the research funding institutions Formas, Fas, Swedish Research Council and Vinnova.

Swedish Secretariat for Global Environment Earth System Sciences (SSEESS) has its offices at KVA. Its director is Kevin Noon, Professor of Chemical Meteorology at Stockholm University. Further information is given on the website of KVA.
